Once you match with another pilot (both have liked each other's profiles), you can send direct messages through our built-in messaging system. All messages are private and secure. Free members can send limited messages per month, while premium members get unlimited messaging.

Our matching algorithm considers multiple factors: your home airport location, aircraft type ratings, certification level, flying interests, and personal preferences. You can browse all verified pilots, filter by location/ratings, and "like" profiles that interest you. When two pilots like each other, it's a match and you can start messaging!

When you register, you'll be asked to upload a clear photo of your FAA pilot certificate. Our admin team manually reviews each submission and cross-references it with FAA public records using your certificate number. This typically takes 24-48 hours. Once verified, you'll receive a welcome email and your profile will be activated with a "Verified Pilot" badge.

Absolutely! We take your privacy seriously. Your email address is NEVER displayed to other users. Your FAA certificate details are only used for verification and stored securely. We use industry-standard encryption for all data transmission and storage. You control what information appears on your profile, and you can adjust privacy settings at any time in your account dashboard.

You need to upload a clear, legible photo of your FAA Pilot Certificate (the physical card or temporary certificate). Make sure all information is visible including your name, certificate number, ratings, and expiration date. We also recommend uploading your medical certificate for additional verification, though it's optional.

If your verification is rejected, you'll receive an email explaining why (common reasons: photo unclear, certificate expired, information mismatch). You can re-upload corrected documents at any time. Contact our support team if you need assistance with the verification process.
